So happy to hear you are better! the gut is probably one of the most crucial organs after the brain in terms of regulating the immune system and body. Like a 2nd brain!

It just sucks that the moment you bring up parasites with drs they immediately start thinking you have a psychological issue and completely dismiss you. parasites have been with humans for thousands of years, you can get them anywhere, many times they coexist in our bodies no problem, but sometimes you get a bad one and need treatment. I think in developed countries, at least here in the US, drs just don't seem to believe you can get parasites. They get no training in that area. The only way they will treat you is if you have a solid lab dx, but that stuff doesn't catch everything and misses a lot of stuff.

Ok ok sorry don't get me started on that subject of drs and parasites here in the US haha! I just start getting up on my soapbox. It just bums me out that a lot of people may be suffering huge quality of life loss when all they might need are simple cheap relatively safe anti parasitic treatments. Obviously not everyone suffers from parasites, I just wish drs here didn't laugh off the idea so quickly.
