Re: Ivermectin And Blurred Vision
Hi guys! thank you so much for your replies, I missed them as my inbox wasn't updating me on your responses probably because I messed up in the settings and posted anonymously. It's my first time posting so I'm still getting the hang of the posting system here :)
Anyhow, I really appreciate your responses. I had to lower my ivermectin dose because I have some major life stuff coming up and I actually have to be slightly functional for a couple weeks here haha! Well, in lowering the dose I realized that the eye stuff is much better (as are my other herx symptoms, they are still tough but not as insanely tough as the higher dose), I honestly think it has to do with herxing at this point and just need to build up to my full dosage steadily, and that over time, I believe that along with my herx symptoms the eye stuff will taper off.
I think ivermectin must have a pretty solid elimination half life as the flare/herx takes quite a while to dissipate. Plus there is some info out there about how protomyxzoa creates brutal herxes when treated.
I'm very excited, I don't know how long it will take but I think this drug may help get me to the next level, as in, maybe not baseline, but near there, which would make me ecstatic. It's been a long road, still going to be a bit of a trek, but feeling good in spite of the tough process.
Thanks again for your responses and support. I've come to this site a lot and have found peoples' willingness to share information and stories so helpful, and comforting. These journeys with chronic illness can often be very lonely, difficult, completely surreal, and very scary.
Best of luck to you all!
