Re: Help with Progesterone Usage

Hi, can't address your question directly, but whatever you do I would research and cut back on high estrogen foods and introduce more high progesterone foods--organic. Low and slow -- the natural way. Progesterone is turned into cortisol when you are stressed and is probably not a source for your insomnia, so I would look into what the high cortisol is trying to balance or tamp down...there are other stress hormones, too, that could be keeping you awake.

hi, thanks for your help.
i have greatly reduced my mental/emotional stress in the past few months, im on herbs that balance my ciradian rhythym, and i still have all the same symptoms of low progesterone. i cannot figure out the underlying cause of stress, but i wonder if the natural recovery from AF will eventually lead to a balancing of hormones on its own. in other words, i wonder whether if its the right thing to do to take bioidentical hormones or just to let my body produce its own hormones naturally as it recovers?
