I always have people pm'ing me asking how I did it... And the only explanation I have is "read icu's protocols - then go back and read them again. Do the protocol... Then go back again and do everything exactly as it says. Take the vitamins, the supplements - they're just as important as the meds." There is a good reason why a family of 6 can have 2 people infected and the other 4 and the cat come out unscathed. The average person is exposed to parasites almost every day, but only a few get infected.
I got extremely lucky it seems. As bad as it seemed at the time, it was small potatoes compared to some people.
I still do my daily supplements. Added NAC and now foods candida support about a month ago - they were life changing. I don't really have many digestive issues, but I'm a skinny person and was annoyed with occasional bloating.. I couldn't say exactly what it was that I ate because I didn't pay enough attention. The candida support supplements knock that right out. They aren't meant to cure candida, just make your tummy happy. Also found out the stringy bits, or whats referred to as ropes were caused by gluten/wheat. Going gluten free changed a lot too.
As far as the + blood work for strongyloids, I still have no clue what to make of it. I've never had a single symptom, had multiple biopsies of lungs, colon, small intestine, you name it.. All came up with nothing. So.. I don't know. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it I guess.
