Re: Is there point in taking supplements other than diatomaceous earth?
Hey, I really appreciate your response.
I've read a few of your comments about people abusing iodine, and I do agree with many points you make. I actually tried both kelp
Iodine and
Lugol's solution in the past about 8 months ago and 5 months ago respectively. Both times, I had horrible reaction to iodine, so gave it up completely.
Lugol was so potent that even just one drop gave me huge nausea, fatigue, and thinned hair. I was tempted to go back on
Lugol's again this time after reading wonderful reviews for the second time, but kept reminding myself of what happened in the past. Some people just don't react well to iodine, and I am one of them.
I do understand that the conditions I am having come from past bad eating habits and traumas. I am currently 26 yrs old and exercise regularly, at least three times a week. However, for first 18 years of my life, I loved eating junk foods and soda, weighed just a little over 300 pounds. Right before college, I finally decided to challenge myself and lost 110
pounds by cutting down all junk food, eating the right food, and exercising. The challenge was conquered in 9 months, but unfortunately, that was the beginning of another havoc.
Because I lost a lot of weight so quickly, my adrenal got seriously damaged. My body needed rest period, which I never gave after losing weight. Throughout college years, I was always tired, took a nap every single day for at least 1 hour, and pulled several all nighters. I also consumed quite a bit of caffeine back then from Mosnter Energy Drinks to various kinds of coffee.
In addition, I've had 4 surgeries with general anesthesia in my life. Two of those happened in last two years, and they were equivalent of pouring gasoline on fire. Since then, I've had skin rashes, major hair loss, indigestion, weight loss, constant fatigue, dysphagia, irregular bowel movements, and frequent hemorrhoids.
I got desperate, so I tried everything that was out on the web. One protocol I severely regret doing is taking soil based probiotics. My immune system was severely compromised after years of trauma and bad eating habits, indicated by low neutrophil and white blood cell count. While I was taking SBO strains for 6 weeks in last November, my digestive issues worsened, and hemorrhoid became a daily habit.
I believe that SBO strains became opportunistic and colonized in my gut because my immune system was so weak. This is the only reason why I suspected
parasite cleanse might work for me. Since diatumaceous earth did not do anything for me, I wanted to ask about effectiveness of other
parasites supplements before I tried.
I know more than anybody that my health condition is complex and will take a long time to treat. I've eaten fresh, organic vegetables since June of 2014, eating grassfed ground beefs only and have not had fried foods, alcohol, or coffee. I am using supplements as a one tool to fix my health issue, but I find it very difficult to rely on Google, or even physicians to diagnose what would truly work for me. That is the only reason why I am writing these posts on Curezone. I hope this clarifies a lot of frustration you had.
If you have recommendation for me, please share them with me. Thanks in advance.
