It worries me that you had a DNA test come back negative. I thought that was my last hope for a positive test. My next attempt at diagnosing this was to send a sample to a lab in Asheville NC for extensive testing. That lab is recommended on this site.

With that said, my wife still seems to be rid of her parasite. She is not having any digestive problems for close to a week. She still has a cold, which she got from our kids. I am a firm believer that whatever we have keeps us from getting a virus or allergies. I always get some type of cold during the winter and this winter I have hardly even had a sniffle.

The dosage for the Praziquantel depends on what type of worm we have. I was prescribed 25mg/kg. I weigh 210lbs (225lbs before all this started) so I took 2100 mg of the Prazi. I took a dose of the prescribed Prazi and contined to take Prazi I got online from a fish store for 3 days. I gave my wife a smaller dose, of 15mg/kg. She just did a one time dose. Her diet is slightly different from mine so if she stays symptom free I will post her diet and vitamins she takes.

As for the diatomaceous earth we have both tried it. It really did nothing for us. Everyone is different so it may help someone else.

Other symptoms I had with the parasite is tightness in my jaws. I had this for the first 4 or 5 months. Since I started the Praziquantel and Albenzadole, I have not had the tightness in my jaw. Also my sleep pattern has been disrupted. I wake-up every night at around 2:00. This did not happen before the infection. Lastly if I poop in the morning it is runny, if I poop in the afternoon it is more firm. I believe this is because whatever I have is more active at night.

Let's keep each other informed of our progress or setbacks. We need to get rid of this parasite before it causes more severe health problems. I am afraid we have already started to have other problems. My wife and I both are having back pain. This seems very odd to me, we both are in excellent condition and I wonder if it is another side effect. I will let everyone know of the progress/setbacks. Thank for everyone's input.
