Re: URGENT - PARASITE OR ? Ascaris, tapeworm

What are your symptoms? I am wondering if we all have the same symptoms? My wife and I have the exact same symptoms. The symptoms started about 7-8 months ago. We started out having severe diarrhea, weight loss, body fat dropped about 6%, rumbling in our stomachs, abdominal pain, feeling fatigued, foggy feeling in my head, dry skin no matter how much water we drank, and dizziness. These symptoms lasted about 2 months.

Now our symptoms now are runny stools, dry skin, a lot of excess gas, passing whatever is in the pictures above from time to time, and a crawling or wiggling feeling in my butt.

I have tried ICU's drug protocol for tapeworms, thinking that is what we had. I have taken praziquantel(both the fish med and the prescribed type) Albendazole prescribed, Valbazen vet med, and I have also tried high doses of COQ10. It seemed to help some, I have passed more of whatever kind of parasite we have when taking the meds but it has not cleared up for me.

My wife took 3 tablets of prescribed praziquantel last week and seems to be ok now, we hope anyway. Her stools are back to normal a she has a cold. A cold is a good thing, I think, because we have not been sick while we have had this parasite. We also have not had any allergies (my allergies have been severe all of my life and now I don't have any at all), and joint pain has decreased. These are the good symptoms with this parasite. With that said, the bad symptoms outweigh the good ones.

One guess, I have, is that we have the dog tapeworm. We had a dog that had fleas, this summer and the dog slept with us. Another other idea is that we got some thing from eating raw oysters. We ate these this summer before we got sick. The final guess is that we got whatever from my in-laws water. They are on well water. They have all kinds of medical problems so it is hard to tell if they are suffering from the same thing that we are.

Please let us know if you all have similar symptoms and maybe we can isolate the problem to help figure out what is the best method for killing these invaders.
