Re: Gut flora and liver flushing

I'm wondering the same thing regarding the liver flush and it's effects on the gut flora.  Epsoms are said to harm the good gut flora, I am trying to find confirmation of this.

I have recently been reading "The Belly Fat Effect" by Mike Mutzel, a scientist.  He references studies that show eating fat allows the endotoxins from the bad bacteria to circulate throughout the entire body from the gut.  This is bad.

The olive oil mixture in the flush would certainly fall into this category.  I think harming the good flora is possibly why almost everyone here says they get wiped out for days after a flush.  How can we flush without harming the good bacteria?  I do believe the flush is very helpful ultimately but can really wreak havoc in the process.
