Re: How long does copper detoxing usually take? (ballpark)
It's great that you are seeing progress. And all the detox side effects are classic copper ones. I've had all those with headaches thrown in.
Hair mineral analysis is what revealed my copper toxicity along with other imbalances so I don't know how to advise someone just using zinc to get copper out. It's better to do hair testing and use several supplements to support the whole body. Minerals work in harmony with each other so just focusing on one will change others.
Have you read about hair testing? Analytical Research Labs is great, and their site is
http://www.arltma.com. Dr. Larry Wilson is an expert in this, and I use a practitioner trained by him. His site is
http://www.drlwilson.com. It's also helpful to do some detox procedures when going through this.
coffee enemas are awesome for the liver and colon. Saunas also help a lot.
I, like you, have been copper-toxic since childhood. So my liver has been very congested for a long tim. Thanks to CEs and being on the right supplements, I'm seeing a lot of progress. But I've been doing this now for several years. And the body will deal with other things along the way so it takes time and commitment and a willingness to feel rotten when we are detoxing.
