How long does copper detoxing usually take? (ballpark)
So I recently found out that I'm (quite) copper toxic, and zinc deficient.
Have been pretty sick most of my life, and had a bad illness for roughly the past 15 years, which includes adrenal fatigue - likely stage 3 at this point - liver problems, immune problems, poor digestion, and a bunch of other things.
As soon as I started taking Zinc... I mean it was instant... the difference was amazing. Nothing I've tried, in my entire life has helped at all, many things even made it much worse. Can't even begin to describe how miraculous and downright euphoric this is.
However, as it goes with detoxing copper... I've developed many other symptoms - nausea, lack of appetite, OCD like you wouldn't believe (like truly irrational stuff), muscle aches, extremely cold, overall discomfort, worsened anxiety, fear, etc.
I've been taking Zinc 50mg a day, along with several hundred mg of vit B6 and 180mg or so of vit c when the copper symptoms get bad. I am relatively overweight, but losing weight unbelievably fast now with my good diet, exercise everyday, sleeping early... and chances are this rapid dumping of fat cells is contributing to the copper release into the rest of my body, and from my liver where I'm sure the majority of my copper stores are. I'm also quite sure that I've been storing copper since I was a child (likely as early as right after vaccination).
I'm just wondering, from the pros, and from those who have been through this and beat it already. How long in general, as a rough estimate, do you suppose such a detox like this might take, given everything above? Or even sharing how long your own detox's took, might give me an idea?
Are the ballpark ranges of weeks to months to half a year or what?
