Thanks a lot for dropping by, CLEW. I knew if anybody had a handle on the light transmission factor it would be you.

Really great pics. I snagged a fragment, a broken piece. Light from one end went through and sprayed the white paper I had the thing on out of the other. Worked in reverse as well.

Just a fluke. I wasn't looking for it. I had a flareup due to stress and did a rough swipe and just decided to take a look. I don't usually, anymore.

I like this: "(fungi or ?)." I have taken to denoting as, "appears." Without gene sequencing that is the safest designate for me to employ. Even if I had the money to get gene sequencing performed at separate labs across the world, with different paid agents presenting samples at those labs, I don't know that I would.
