Re: Hairloss and Leaky Gut
Hi, not sure if anyone else posted this as running short of time, but that is classic symptoms of:
Hashimoto's Thyroiditis which is an auto immune disease which attacks the thryoid gland. To get diagnosed you will need to have the following blood tests:
TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone)
Free T4
Free T3
TPO (Thyroid Peroxidaise Antibodies)
even if you have normal TSH results, you could be subclinical hashimotos.
Hashimoto's was the first auto immune disease discovered in 1912 and left untreated has serious consequences.
the best book i recommend is resource on this is via thyroid pharmacist .com - but there is lots of free info on the web and YouTube - if you type in Hashomotos you'll be surprised.
The good news is, if caught early enough it IS reversable!
Hashimoto's is oftern coupled with Low Iron count (ferritin) and Low B12 count.
Just becuase you are in the 'normal' ranges doesnt mean you are not well.
I hope you'll look into this and it will help you - unfortunately the medical profession are not really up to date with this information yet!
Good luck x
