Confirming I suspect you are correct on the strength and scope of the disease, which are findings compatible with the possibility of a rotifer vector, as mentioned in prev msg. Many parasites, incl rotifers, are known to manipulate their hosts behavior to that degree...there have been studies on HIV and Herpes infections to wit.
