I could be larger depending on your diet. They don't ever totally go away. I just had surgery for mine 3 days ago. The pain I'm feeling is horrible. Before that, I'd have bleeding some days but not every day. Taking Advil seemed to make it bleed worse. I got to the point where it was an every day problem so I elected to have surgery. I pray the pain I'm going through now makes the surgery worth it
