Do you have over sized tires on your vehicle? That can throw off your speedometer. To test your speedometer. Get on the interstate going 60 mph and start timing at the next mile marker. If it takes you 60 seconds to get to the next mile marker, your speedometer should be calibrated correctly. 60 mph is a mile a minute.
P.S. What is your insurance rates with all of those speeding tickets? :-(
