Pain worse after flush

The 1.5 cm stones are large and the probability is that there are one or more of the same size. If your stools are still a good brown colour the common bile duct is clear. If the stools have a tan sometimes described as orange tinge then the obstruction is in the cystic bile duct which goes to the gallbladder. What is described as 'bland' pain is not uncommon if you flush with a gallstone problem.

I would suggest that you put up with the discomfort as long as you can as it often reduces but if it is still as bad after a week and you desperately want relief then flush again. Although I would advocate waiting another week if you can.
