Not sure why this has found its way into my inbox, as it appears to be unrelated to the thread I initiated. Were you looking for my opinion regarding the carcinogenic properties of teflon? If so, the answer is yes, teflon is carcinogenic. Having said that, I believe the risk is low level compared to other environmental carcinogens. For example, it is not mentioned in the indices of either Pierce (Outsmart....) or Francis (Never Fear....) But please note, I am not an authority on the subject, and you should always do your own research.
