Iodine and bone/CT scans

I have Stage 3 Breast Cancer that metastised to my lymph glands. I have, so far, rejected surgery, chemo and radiation. With my diet and supplements, the cancer in my lymph glands is gone and the lump in my breast is shrinking.

The medical establishment has Very reluctantly (with frequent mentions of the risks I'm taking with my life and health) agreed to let me go another month before intervention. The plan is to undergo more scans to check progress or regress in a month's time.

I'm currently taking 100mg of Iodine a day. I'm not very scientifically minded. Does anyone know if this will interfere with those scans? Do I need to go off the Iodine before the scans and how long before?

I'll be Most grateful for any input! Thanks!
