They are not the only people in the world that know things though.

The frugivore diet is much better than eating a wrong diet your whole life and then supplementing with inorganic minerals in order to compensate.

It's a simple logical disconnnect.

If Iodine deficiency is the only cause for these diseases then how is it that people recover from them with other means than supplementing iodine?

That's the end of that and there is no room for debate once you can look farther than your snout.
