Re: Intestinal Flukes: Pictures Included
Thanks for the reply. I was pretty devastated leaving the doctor's office because I was enthusiastic that I might finally have an answer to my gut issues. I wanted to challenge him on the notion of them being visible and wanted him to look at more of the pictures.
Every single stool I have checked from Sunday until today has had these things in it. And lots of them. I've also had a worse week than normal with my bloating, stomach discomfort, etc. The severity of my symptoms varies.
If these are flukes, I can't help but wonder why they are coming out in such large numbers. Perhaps they frequently have and I've just never looked. Most every stool I have they are not visible without digging into the fecal matter. What could be killing them considering I'm not taking any special supplements or medication? Could this just be a natural cyclical die off? A large amount of alcohol consumption all at once?
I'm going to try and hopefully provide a specimen at the office of a different doctor tomorrow and hope for a different response. I've tried to salvage specimens in a vial but from online research they are pretty much worthless being stored and transported that way.
