I'm honestly not sure. It's all very strange and confusing.. When I did the nystatin enemas, the white strings came out but I didn't see any root-like structures. And I had all the obvious candida overgrowth symptoms.

I always assumed everyone who had severe intestinal candidiasis would have yeast showing up elsewhere in the body but I guess in your case, the candida stayed in the intestines and couldn't move elsewhere because your immune system wasn't that compromised? Maybe the parasites had something to do with the candida growing rhizoids.
