Your aunt and uncle were very smart! My grandma used to give us castor oil in the early 80s. I was too young to remember why and only have one memory of my dad holding me and she came at me with a spoon and like a jerk, i opened my mouth... expecting grape diamatap... ohh it was awful! I don't know if it was meant as a dewormer or just because old people thought that making little kids shit their brains out was healthy back then. My other grandma swore everything would give us worms... like eating Sugar out the bowl or raw cookie dough would give us worms. There were other things... wish i remembered.

I've seen mycelium run through food sources. Logs, paper, compost.
The reality of hyphae running through the human body in colonization would be the thing of nightmares.
After a certain point killing the hyphae without killing the colonized host could be very tricky.

Candida going systemic has killed people.
The damage it could do as it chows down on a human being is something we just don't hear about unless we do the reading ourselves.
You are right. A case of pinworms is a walk in the park compared to candida getting out of hand.
I would rather not have found out. But now I know. I'll probably do one of the candida tests I found on the web to see what my status is.

This whole thing looks like it could get out of hand. Looking for things and then finding them could hand someone a severe case of depression.
If the bottom itching hadn't become so intense I would never have known about a number of things.

I tried to do away with the candida. I reacted horribly to the fluconazole, broke out in hives from head to toe and got irregualr heart beat. Now I just take mild heblas to try to kill it off. That is the only actual diagnosis I got was candida over growth dividing.
