Re: Paranoid about sensations
I don't think the paranoia ever goes away... we are i think 11 or 12 weeks free of pinworms and I am STILL petrified of putting the youngest 2 back in their bedroom incase i missed something while cleaning and steaming. They're bugging to go swimming tomorrow too at the indoor high school pool and i'm kinda like.. ehhh.. because of all the unwashed butts that have been in it :/
I would get the insane nose and ear itching in spurts.. but that happened wayyyy before
parasites were ever a thought and it only happened when I was in certain places, so I knew it was allergies and not worms. My sunroom flooded back in April and mold grew behind the drywall, so that was a lot of the problem. I even had to have my cat put on steroids because it affected him. Not smart to compromise his immune system, but he had himself a mess with clumps of hair falling out because he was pawing at himself but there was nothing visible on him and no bite marks... the steroids stopped it right away and once the mold was cloroxed, wall ripped out and a drain was installed to reroute the water and wall.. problem solved. Not everyone is sensitive to it either.. only 3 of us in the house and the cat were affected. So, it's possible that you are the only one at work who's reacting.
When I think of pinworms in an area like the nose, I would think that they would hurt more than itch. The nasal area is really sensitive and they would be pretty big to be crawling around in there. Are you seeing anything weird come out of your nose? Sometimes strings of snot can look like mini ropeworms with the head and skinny tail... i forget what it means though, but they're not actual worms... it's snot, but it forms that way for a reason. all i remember is its the same rules as regular mucous... if they're white then it's irritation, green is a sinus infection and brown means there was bleeding.
