Secondly, yes. A symmetrical square wave produces an infinite series of odd harmonics. Of course, an infinite series requires infinite bandwidth, something that nothing can process. But on paper, there is an 849th harmonic, and it's amplitude is one eight hundred forty-ninth of the fundamental. If this were not true, every jet aircraft in the world would fall out of the sky, and all electronic communications would cease.
