Wow I know it's a little late...like 8 years late according to the posts but I ended up here from googling bluish specs above iris. I thought they were from contact lens wearing and was worried about oxygen depravation of my pupil. I was also experiencing constant eye infections. Turns out I had intestinal parasites and these were just symptoms along with, constipation, IBS, fatigue, white spots on nails along with the same peeling you described, mood swings and brain fog. I started coffee, vinegar, h2o2 enemas a month ago and it's made a world of difference. I have bowel movements right after I eat like we should, the nail spots are gone, and one of my eyes has cleared the blue specs and no more eye infections even when I sleep in my contacts now. parasite cleansing isn't overnight but life long, because if you eat food or breathe air you're gonna pick them up.
