Re: Back To Square One, Disappointed

I think there are blood tests for them. How accurate they are, who the hell knows?

I also get scratches all over - last night I got long scratches on my back along with other symptoms.

I wonder if Bartonella (cat scratch fever) could play a role here. I have lyme though but oddly multiple strongyloide test have come back negative as well as an Ascaris test.

A doctor gave me a blood smear test for fillarial worms but I think she gave the wrong one - serology is probably the best type if they are available.

I saw a doctor at McGills Tropical Clinic and the doctor didn't even call back even after calling them multiple times, suggesting they probably found nothing. Makes it seem like some of these tropical doctors are garbage. Brian Ward in particular sounds ignorant though, giving excuses for where a person has traveled in order to flukes or whatever, etc.

There is one more doctor here I may try who is from Nigeria I think and seems to know about Lyme as well as having background in tropical medicine.

I wish I could take ivermectin every day but it really seems to hurt my kidneys so I take them on occasion now.
