Re: Iodine Therapy effectively kills Candida
I'm not sure how much longer I'll want to post here...so I want to follow up. I agree with all this with a caveat. I have a tendency toward thyroid insufficiency, and I think it was exacerbated by the
Iodine I took from about 2002-2011. I wasn't taking it for Candida but for a general sense that, yes, we are all
Iodine insufficent and fluoride poisoned. For years and years, I was cold all the time and just assumed I was "that way". This is no longer the case. HOWEVER, I'm not saying your advice is bad. I'm just saying people who take this approach need to be aware of the signs of thyroid insufficiency and be prepared to deal with them. In my case, I corrected my thyroid issues in completely unrelated ways to
Iodine intake...they involved the (very) rare inborn metabolic issues I had mentioned earlier and I see no reason to go into. In fact, it's possible my carb addiction flared up in the past few years because I was taking less iodine. That's one reason I decided to try
Turpentine to deal w/it instead of iodine.
