In my situation it is a very strong and determined husband that will not accept what others say is his place in society, he is well trained in combat arts and planning, but because of his none acceptance his father has many times used a shotgun to force my husband to do as expected, My husband got his hands on it though and turned it into junk and inoperable, after memorial day his father wanted to have a conversation with me without my husband around, He had two of his friends hold weapons on my husband so I was not stopped from going with them, I went under protest and so they did not hurt my husband. We left him standing in front of the house with his cane, I told his father that he just made the problem escalate, his father said we left him standing the matter is closed and I was to keep my mouth shut to my husbands mother as to why I was not with my husband.
The incident did escalate30 minutes later, his father told his mother and sister and the wives of his two friends my husband was not home, The first indication my husband was there was when his sister screamed and that heavy cane impacted into the faces of the two men, leaving them face down and bleeding into their breakfast, my husband was released because he recorded what happened thirty minutes earlier. The idea of bullying a man into doing what is expected is coming to a head, I refuse to get involved with people that I had considered friends now. I know they consider my husband intrusive even though we intruded into his freedom for three decades, on the other side of the coin he scares the living blazes out of the community we lived in, with his ideas of no privileged class.
