ICU, you're a genius! I love you! I spent the better part of the last 24 hours googling and couldn't find ANY info besides a colon/lung cancer connection.
All the talk about cartoid ateries and what not in the article is a little frightening.
The night I had that piercing/ripping pain in my chest - and for the next 3 days I would get really dizzy whenever I would feel something in that area... it would hit out of nowhere and I would get dizzy and my vision would almost get like fuzzy tunnel vision. Now I'm wondering if blood flow was being restricted some how? It hasn't happened since, thank god.

For the time being, I'm feeling better. I hope the meds I ordered arrive quick or I can talk GI into one more dose of Albenza before they schedule my colonoscopy and pass me off to ID. I have a good feeling I can beat this down if I press on... the thought of this all coming back full force while getting lost in the doctor shuffle is disheartening. I almost feel normal again.
