That very well could be... mine/my kids were absolutely most definitely pinworms though... on albenza alone they were sparse.. but once we toom the pyrantel, they were loaded with white specks for 3 days and then just stopped.
A week later we all took albenza and pyrantel again.. the kids stool looked completely normal and mine was a wreck.. no white specks but mucous, wormy looking stuff and jelly fish looking stuff. Repeated again this week and again kids were normal and mine was gross again.
However, your body is differebt than a 5 and 8 year olds, so yours very well could be fats. Almost anything could look like a speck.. especially if you eat nuts and seeds. You have to be objective when examining your stool... thinking everything is a worm and trying to figure out what kind just adds to the confusion.
