What then is the Real and True Gospel of Jesus?

I listened to most of this and it was very difficult for me to get through. Some of it was interesting, as far as some information about the language spoken at the time Jesus was born and some information about the translations. I tend to agree with him that the translations that we have today are quite good and it is something of a miracle that we have such good and accurate information in the New Testament. But aside from that, to me this man represents everything that is wrong with Christianity today. He is very resolute in his will to use his own manly reasoning and logic to understand the Gospel of Christ. Unfortunately, the Gospel of Christ can never be understood by reasoning and logic but only by prayer and quiet contemplation with our heart centered on Christ. Why anyone would want to listen to a word this man is going to say after this video, I cannot imagine, other than that they agree with him that the Gospel of Christ can only be understood by logic and reasoning with our human mind (which is really a prisoner of Satan).

I do believe that we should study the scriptures, especially, the New Testament and I do believe that we should use logic and reasoning to some extent but if we really want to understand them, then you need to let those words sit in your heart and let the grace of Christ reveal the true meaning and the path to salvation. If you only understand the Gospel through logic and reasoning, you will only know the letter and not the meaning and you are on the pathway to damnation and a prisoner to your own rational mind. You can never escape from the prison of your own rational mind by using logic and reason, only through the grace of Christ, and the grace of Christ can never be understood by the human rational mind. The human rational mind can understand the logical concepts of the Gospel of Christ but instead of understanding the true meaning, the human mind will give it our own meaning that fits in with our own rational level of understanding (which again is in bondage to Satan).

Sorry Rainy, but this kind of preacher is exactly the kind of preacher that kept me in sin and bondage for most of my life and he reminds me of the majority of Christian preachers that I have heard. This is a very sad state of Christianity. Yes there are various cults that have perverted and changed the doctrine of Christ, such as the Jehovah's Witnesses, the Mormons, and many others. But they are no less of a twisted and warped version of Christianity than any preacher that teaches only true and correct doctrine but says you can understand it all logically and rationally. I mean with someone like Joseph Smith, the founder of the Mormon religion, he claimed that he was receiving divine revelation from God and he was a complete false prophet. But with this guy, he is saying from the very beginning, I'm not going to teach you from the divinity of God, but I'm going to teach you the doctrine from the logic and reasoning of man, so he is already false.

Now, I do actually agree with him that all of these Christian cults are 100% false, but the way to know for sure if something or someone is not of God is not by logic and reasoning but again by prayer and quiet contemplation, asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Christ does not want us to use our own logic and reasoning that keeps us in constant bondage. He wants us to use our hearts to cry out for his mercy so that he can remove us from bondage and destroy our logical, rational human mind. Once God has entered our hearts, then he can make our logical and rational mind his tool but until that point that Christ has saturated our hearts completely, our logical, rational mind is the enemy.
