Re: Allergic Reaction to SuperFood????

I just had this EXACT reaction and called 911 on Friday!!! I had a superfood-plus bar, along with a multivitamin and had intense redness and burning on my face, scalp, ears, neck, etc.... i have NEVER had this reaction before and I have taken many green drinks in my time....needless to say, i had no idea what was going on, nor did the ambulance, so they gave me 50mg of benadryl, and about a half hour later the redness went away. After intense googling and assuming I had some sort of allergicreaction to something in the bar, i actually think it was a Niacin Flush - it sounds as though this experience is common...but I had never heard of it before until now!! It's a relief to see that this experience is common with superfood.... it may be my last time having THAT!! Tweet
