Re: Scalp Follicultis Help

Update: So the past month or so I've been taking accutane and washing with 2% Nizoral shampoo to help with my folliculitis problem. My scalp is much more clear but my shoulders and middle back are worse. I went back to my dermatologist and told him I could not go on with this without a diagnoses based upon scientific facts. The derms I have been seeing feel that it could be a folliculitis caused by a yeast but the first biopsy showed no yeast. I went back today and insisted on another test because I need to know. A biopsy and a culture was done so hopefully I can get an answer.

Thanks edstraine for your input...what kind of folliculitis do you have? What kind of oral meds have you taken? I will cure myself one day...If there is a way I will do it but I'm willing to hear what you've tried :-)
