That is not true. You can cherry pick many articles against iodine. Here is a perfect example of Iodine killing off Candida for drug addiction:

4 drops of Iodine in an ounce of water eliminates candida on the tongue & in the mouth. Ditto when applied to the scalp, dandruff disappears on contact for 2 months or more.

Be very careful what you read on the internet about iodine. There is a lot of negative articles designed to discourage the use of iodine.

I suggest reading only articles from qualified doctors: Abraham, Brownstein, Cousens, Flechas, Derry, Davis, & Tenpenny for honest & accurate information about iodine. Google Search for doctorsName Iodine candida

The iodine we use comes in 2 forms. Lugols/iodoral which is both iodine and potassium Iodide and SSKI which is pure potassium iodide. I take both forms. 50mg daily iodoral for my prostate and 800mg a day for my lungs.
