After reading through this post, just wanted to add that it is a bit concerning that you are drinking a lot but not urinating much. I agree that when you are dehydrated, you need to add more salt to get re-hydrated but when your body is sodium deficient and you drink a lot of water, you normally would be urinating all the time. Also, the fact that your urine is brown seems to indicate that your kidneys are not functioning properly. Personally, I think you should go to a doctor and have them figure out what is going on with your kidneys. I know doctors aren't great, but it just seems like something could be seriously wrong with your kidneys. What were you in the hospital for?
