I am not an Iodine therapy expert... I use kelp to insure I avoid being isodine deficient as I try more and more to use food instead of supplements...
but regarding the candida I know you are wrong to think sodium is bad. Actually, severe cases of candida will be sodium deficient. Of course, too much sodium is bad for your health, but it is wrong to think that putting sodium away is part of the candida diet - black pepper is out, but not salt.
I have found that mineral deficiencies can be quite an issue with candida and putting all of them in balancin them is a huge part of recovery. You seems to be doing real good - gaining life quality - which is a good sign.
