While I have no doubt Iodine effects has an effect on candida, I would (and have) used metulla tea which specifically targets it. When killing off candida its important to use a very good and potent probiotic to help reestablish good flora as the candida dies off and makes room or its real easy for candida to come back. Candida reproduces very rapidly.
