When the stomach acid is low the H.Pylori is "coaxed" out of the stomach lining and into the stomach. This is the main reason they use a PPI on there drug based triple therapies. Added by the fact the Antibiotics work more efficiently is a more alkaline environment. Prof Thomas Borody at the CDD Sydney has relayed this to me in person. He is an arrogant p**** but knows what he's on about.
