Alkaline Water has many testimonials online for curing from diabetes to psoriasis. A quick fix to drying out shingles is as inexpensive as hydrogen peroxide. Put it in a spray bottle spray it in your hand and rub it onto the sores. It will dry out the shingles and it will get rid of the pain. Do this everyday on the site and around the site to keep it at bay. It works. Make this part of your daily hygiene routine. Maybe even in the morning and in the evening. Carry another spray bottle with you. As soon as you feel pain coming from the site spray the area and keep dry. This works, I know because it works for me. I'm on day 3 of the alkaline water.
