Re: Posterior Tibial Tendonitis FOOT. Wife is ready to commit suicide

I dealt with this for over two years before I healed. I had posterior tibial tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and a fracture. It went another year misdiagnosed-and I was super discouraged and depressed. My doc put me in a boot for 6 months, pt 3 times a week. Then after 6 months-brooks tennis shoes with the vasyli insoles. No barefeet, and that company also makes flip flops. I was limited to bike riding and swimming. I went to pt 3 times a week and did band exercises, ultra sound, and heat laser. After another 6 months of this- which was jan-i could go a full day without zinging, shooting pain, paralyzing hurt, and cramping. Ive lost 60 pounds and I only walk and lift weights. Im 35 And Although my foot gets a little zingy when it rains-i can live with that. I hope your wife will stop with cortisone and the rest. It is only going to make it worse in the long run. My pt, who specialized in teendons-said he was glad I didnt do those things bc ppl feel better but they end up over using their foot and aggravating the issue , not helping it. Round rock orthopedic saved my life.
