Yeah Ive read that and I hope that is the reason... In those reports they usually say TSH will go up 'slightly'... mine went from 11 to 48... now that could still be cause by the NIS being built but just in case its some result of damge caused by hashimotos i decided to back off of the Iodine until either my next appointment or until i notice any symptoms returning.. Im going back first week of july. I assume my body has a pretty good supply of Iodine for now.
Im going to make sure on my next test they run a full thyroid panel including antibodies.. if the antibodies comes back negative then im happy to resume the Iodine and let my body have its fill.
