I dont have much to add besides whats already been stated, but have to ask. What makes you think stopping
Iodine a month before labs will give you "accurate" results?
Iodine is not some synthetic drig that is going to give you false readings on thyroid function, its an essential mineral needed for properly bodily function.
Yes, some people have elevated TSH when on
Iodine and as explained, it helps trigger NIS. Not everyone has that happen however but even if it did it would give you more information than going back to a deficient way of life to be tested.
At the end of the day the thyroid can not function properly without adequate
Iodine so instead of looking at transient values that will mean little or nothing until you have reached sufficiency for some time, why not do iodine loading tests? Then once sufficient start getting "normal" lab work done.
Right now you are gathering data but have no idea if your even iodine sufficient and unless you are the data you have collected means little.
