I googled linalool to see if it was related to lanolin. It is not. Dr. oz recommended lanolin as the best moisturizer for lips.

"Although lanolin is a natural, renewable material it is possible for it to be contaminated with pesticides. While allergies to pure lanolin do occur, its frequency is fairly rare. More frequently, people are allergic to the pesticides found in lanolin." Perhaps the pesticide problem can be avoided if you buy from an organic store.
