Re: Bloating and gaining weight on home-made milk kefir.

You never mentioned all that Sugar consumption. The weight gain comes from mixing all the fat with those sugary fruits. Fat calories are fine and even though whole raw milk has both carbs and fat, drinking 16 to 24 ozs of Kefir a day on a low carb diet will actually help a person lose weight. I have lost 20 pounds in 4 weeks and I drink almost a quart of whole raw milk kefir a day. I DO NOT eat starchy veggies and more importantly NO sugary fruits. Only lemons, limes, or grape fruit. NO grains of any kind either. I consume tons of calories a day with raw to rare grass fed beef, lamb and bison too with weight loss. Sugar and things that turn to Sugar are not good for us!
