Re: Best form of selenium?

Depends on what your adding, how much and where your current mineral levels are at.

its a very individual thing. Luckily there is a fairly wide range for most minerals where we are safe. But there are also important balances to consider as well as effects other nutrients have.

Salt to potassium ratio is fairly important, most people get loo little potassium and a lot more salt(the wrong kind of salt). Many minerals are needed for proper muscle function, bone mineralization etc. The fat soluable vits are critical for proper bone mineralization. If your low on those and start taking them they may create an increased need for things like magnesium because now your body has what it needs to get the minerals where they need to go.

If your athletic, you can lose a lot of minerals in sweat. If you take a lot of B12 you cause artificially lower serum potassium levels.

Just some examples of course but I think you get the idea.
