The headache you had was probably due to an elevation in ammonia because your urea cycle couldn't keep up. Eat no meat when you start a cleanse or new medication and that can help decrease herxes. As for the flu like symptoms, many people are deficient of Zinc and supplementing with that can be helpful. I would recommend a probiotic like Ortho Biotic or a cheaper one like Florajen3. Your GI flora are the key to getting well and you won't be well until the bacterial concentrations get back to where they are supposed to be. Tweet
