RO doesnt often get rid of fluoride whereas distilling does. Both pretty much remove the minerals from water but also the other crap as well.

The little countertop distillers are generally cheaper and do remove more impurities.

The way I see it, its easier to add minerals back in and adjust PH than to deal with the toxins after you consume them.

I only brought up the PH because as distilled water sits (ie after distilling) it slowly becomes more acidic which in itself can cause health issues. Its easy enough to overcome just something people need to be aware of. Tweet
