Re: Help with my vit's B experience. Is this normal?
One thing to consider is your mineral balance.
We read so much about needing this and that vitamin for this and that symptom/condition yet so many of these vitamins need minerals to work well.
I've been reading info lately from an amazing holistic vet who has found that mineral balance is paramount to vitamin balance in animals - and many conditions resolve once mineral balance is addressed.
She also likens this rationale to humans too.
Very rarely did she have to treat with vitamins, as they became more in balance and better used by the body once minerals were balanced.
I'm not advocating starting a synthetic multi-mineral supplement. Food and good salts obviously are the best source.
The mineral make-up of the human body is very similar to ocean water so it makes sense to consume salts from ancient oceans (pink himalayan) or unrefined
Sea Salt s from good areas (celtic grey coarse
Sea Salt ) to re-mineralise the body.
The minerals in salts are in their 'colloidal' form thus well absorbed and recognised by the cells to do the jobs they have to do rather than buying minerals labelled 'natural, chelated' or whatever.
Salt minerals are in excess of 80 minerals, in their pure natural form.
Having also been super sensitive to supplements the one thing that has helped me improve so much is being consistent with (good quality) salt intake.
I never bothered much with salt before getting ill - i didn't realise the important of it for health!
IMO it's the cheapest and most natural and effective way to help remineralise the body.
You cannot wrongly dose it either because when your body has enough it's impossible to consume more. So consume as much as you like until you reach your own threshold of having had enough for the day.
