Crucifying our own flesh and living by the Spirit.

Hello grizzly,

G: IMO, you bible thumpers are not being fair to our bedraggled Web Master. How can you expect him to have priestly knowledge to settle such a dispute?

M: Is a dispute between two people who proclaim themselves as children of God really so different from one between two people who don't? Also, technically i am not a bible thumper, just as my Lord Jesus and His original disciples weren't. I see Him walking around without a bible teaching from His heart what His Father placed there just as i do. His intimate relationship was with His Father and with the Holy Spirit within Him, not with His bible and this is true with me as well. This is not to say that my Lord Jesus did not also value and sometimes quote scripture as i certainly do as well.

G: Can't you take your squabble back to your forum and settle your differences in a friendly & Godly manner?

M: I agree that such squabbles would preferably be settled in the forum of origination... better yet, where possible, in private messages and best of all within the heart(s) of the individual or individuals carrying unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, anger, lies, etc against the other. Unfortunately, it only takes one party to escalate the tensions and public bad behavior such as a leveled false accusation often requires a public rebuke. This one person then carrying lies into the Webmaster forum in the attempt to get the other party banned in turn requires setting the record strait in this site. It's similar in this way to the court system and it only takes one disgruntled party to initiate a court battle that can eventually be taken all the way to the supreme court... something the level headed, peace filled party never wanted but was forced into.

G: If I were the Webmaster I would just just hate being trapped in the middle of a Religious Squabble! I suggest playing nice,

M: Do you perceive that people who proclaim faith in God are more inclined to bring their squabbles to the Webmaster than those who do not make this proclamation? Do you hold such proclaimers to a higher standard of working out their differences amongst themselves than you would hold unbelievers, or would you place the same expectation upon them? Do you understand that not all believers are alike and that two people who proclaim to be children of God can be on opposite ends of the spectrum, one very much living in the Spirit, abiding in Christ, eating from the tree of Life and the other very much in the flesh, rejecting the leading of God and fighting against Him?... just as was true in the time of the Lord Jesus when the sinless Son of God found Himself in the midst of squabbles with the Spirit quenching hard hearted pharisees and having to repeatedly rebuke them?

Just a little food for thought and i hope this blesses you.

ps: excellent to meet you!
