Re: Science meets Spirituality, edit
:)) ahhh yes, intent.
I think "science" is geared towards man wanting to control his environment, by making observations, and insisting that any natural laws that science seeks to codify are reproducible. If it doesn't produce reproducible results, then the proposed law (theory) isn't much of a law , it becomes only a "maybe". Newton's law of equal and opposite reaction, laws of thermodynamics and a few others always hold true and are reproducible.
But all those are based on what we can observe with our senses of sight, touch, hearing, et cet.
Spirituality I think goes to the idea that there are things out there that we cannot see with the body's five senses, and there is where the difficulty is, because I cannot easily prove spiritual existence to a person who is geared only toward their five senses. I can quickly demonstrate Newton's second law in 5 minutes, but the spiritual requires a different type of equipment, seeking and unlocking the power of the tiny little bit of the Force that is within all of us, teaching others not only what it is, but also how to control it, focus it.
There is a good reason why it is difficult, it is knowledge that we truly do not want many people to know about it, for the good of all , as men are known to abuse any power they are given. Just as in chemoluminescence there is bioluminescence as you know. We can control the frequency and modulation of what we both emit and receive and what we emit can have profound impact on others tuned to receive it, but physical existence is a very powerful blocker in 99.9%, optimal results achieved when able to throw off physical shell, and this is scientifically measurable
